love is not just that mushy feeling or the butterflies you get in your stomach when that special someone is around. it's showing people you barely know your inner jesus.
sometimes i wish everyone had a little portable jesus to carry around. however if this were so, many little jesus's would be stuffed into a pocket. not put on our shoulder, or held gently in the palm of our hand, or leading us through life, but stuffed in our pockets, forgotten and ignored. He said to love Him, but how many people do we love each day? (Matt.25:34-46) we are to love others like He does, not when it comes naturally but when it's the hardest. when we are put down, rejected, insulted, truly hurt, cut off, and so on we are to love(John15:12-13 and Matt.5:43-48).
jesus will never run out of batteries or mess up. you'll never have to get the edited version of jesus. He's always going, all you have to do is turn Him on. don't shove jesus in the bottom of your pocket, let him sit in your heart and be with you always. He loves you.
1 Cor. 13:8a- Love never fails. :)...don't fail God.
